Walter joined CODEMANTRA in 2008 and took over responsibilities for the company’s Publishing Services Division. He brings to the company his broad experience as senior Business Development/Marketing Executive with knowledge and expertise in the application of automated content solutions applied to ECM and digital publishing processes. He has more than 18 years of commercial publishing experience having held VP Sales & Marketing positions at Simon & Schuster, Inc. and marketing and public relations positions with Bantam Doubleday Dell (now part of Random House Inc.) and McClelland & Stewart (now part of Random House, Canada) Walter started at ground zero in the eBook space with a progressive start-up offering a Digital Rights Management solutions, back in 2000. He then ventured into industrial publishing solutions, where he marketed and sold high-end dynamic enterprise publishing (DEP) solutions for Advent 3B2, Arbortext and PTC Inc. Walter’s extensive understanding of publishing processes and the expanding market for digital content supports his practical assessment of where, and how, XML technologies can best be applied to a publisher’s commercial agenda. As the Executive Director of Publishing Services division for CODEMANTRA , Walter is responsible for all client services, sales, marketing and business development. He is responsible for the management of strategic partnerships and oversees the company’s global footprint in providing the highest possible quality publishing services and software solutions.
