Mr Luluk Sumiarso | Founder & Chair Indonesian Institute for Clean Technology
Prior to his retirement in June 2011, Luluk Sumiarso served as the Director General of New and Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation, Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (2010-2011), Senior Adviser to the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (2008-2010), Director General of Oil and Gas (2006-2008), Secretary General of the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources (2003 – 2006) and Director General of Electricity and Energy Utilization (2001-2003). He also served as the Commissioner of PT PGN (1994-2002) and the President Commissioner of PT PLN (2002-2003). He currently also serves as the Commissioner of PT Pertamina since 2010 and the Member of the Assistance Team of the Minister of Finance on Climate Change since 2011. Luluk graduated from Bandung Institute of Technology (Electrical Engineering), Syracuse University, USA (Instructional Technology), and the University of Pennsylvania, USA (Energy Management and Policy).
