Alan Brown is the Business Sales Director at Telefónica O2 Ireland. He is responsible for strategy development and sales execution in all Business segments including Corporate, Government, SME and Wholesale. Before joining O2, Alan was with eircom where he held the position of Director of Government Markets. He previously held a number of other senior positions with eircom including Director of Broadband and Internet, responsible for managing eircom’s strategy, product development and ISP infrastructure, and Managing Director of Lan Communications, providing leading Network Systems Integration solutions to a broad cross section of Government and Corporate clients. He was also previously Head of Sales and Marketing for eircom Wholesale division, Commercial Manager of eircom Hosting Services and Senior Vice President of eircom US, working with state organisations such as the IDA to attract foreign direct investment to Ireland. Alan holds a Bachelor of Business Studies from D.C.U
