Mr. Mark Sewell | CEO Warrigal Care
Mark Sewell is the CEO of Warrigal Care, a not-for-profit community based aged care provider based in the Illawarra. Founded in 1967 it now has over 650 staff, 450 volunteers, a $40mil turnover and is growing, spending over $100m in expanding its services. Currently it operates 7 residential care homes, 7 retirement villages, 3 community home care services and other community services across the south east of NSW.
For 25 years Mark has been involved in human services, in the areas of youth and family work, disability services and aged care. He has worked as a senior manager for the NSW Govt and is an enthusiastic communicator and trainer with broad business and community service skills.
He is a Director of the Aged and Community Services Association of NSW/ACT and is Illawarra Regional Chair of the same association. He also serves on several voluntary board directorships including a private school, a church, a welfare service and a national fathering association
