Mr Ravi Raju | Head of Private Wealth Management Asia Pacific

Ravi Raju is the Head of Private Wealth Management (PWM) for Asia Pacific at Deutsche Bank. He was appointed to this position in March 2007. As Head of Asia Pacific, Ravi is a member of the Global Executive Committee for PWM. Based in Singapore, Ravi sets the strategic direction of the PWM business in the region. He oversees the PWM franchise of over 680 staff located in 14 offices across nine countries in Asia Pacific. He has responsibility over four sub-markets within Asia Pacific - North Asia, Onshore (offices in Australia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand), Southeast Asia, and Global South Asia covering non-resident Indians (offices in Dubai, Geneva and London). Under his leadership, Deutsche Bank PWM in Asia Pacific has grown rapidly by leveraging the Bank's strong investment banking platform and offering unique services for entrepreneurs which cater to both their wealth management and wealth creation needs. In recognition of his track record in the financial industry, Ravi was conferred the distinguished Financial Industry Certified Professional (FICP) title in October 2009 in the category of ‘Wealth Management – Relationship Management (High Net Worth). This title is the highest certification mark for a financial practitioner in Singapore under the Financial Industry Competency Standards (FICS) framework, which is benchmarked to international standards. Ravi began his career in Citigroup in India as a Management Associate after completing his MBA in Finance and Marketing from the University of Delhi. He spent 16 years in Citigroup where his last position was Managing Director and Head of Investments, Strategy and M&A for Citigroup’s Global Wealth Management Sector in Asia Pacific and Middle East. Ravi is on the Board of Governors of United World College of South East Asia, Singapore (UWCSEA) and is a trustee on the UWCSEA Foundation Board, where he is a member of the Audit committee. He is married to Lakshmi and they have two daughters, Mallika and Divya.
