Dr. Xiaofeng Zhou is a director in World Safety Strategy’s Epidemiology group at Pfizer Inc. She has 16 years of working experience with Pfizer in a wide variety of roles including the clinical development operation, post marketing drug safety and pharmacovigilance, clinical safety and risk management, and epidemiology. She has published and presented on signal detection methods, safety and epidemiological studies, and common data model evaluations etc. Xiaofeng has multiple responsibilities in the design and conduct of Epidemiological studies and, in addition, has led Pfizer’s successful implementation of the OMOP Common Data Model and ensured that lessons learnt are incorporated into active surveillance strategies moving forwards. She earned her doctoral degree in Epidemiology from University of Michigan and holds Masters Degrees in Statistics and Applied Economics from Virginia Tech, and Food and Nutrition Planning from University of Philippines.
