South African Charles Hiten (42), is the Managing Director of Novomatic Investments Chile, as well as holding several other Board and executive management responsibilities with the Novomatic Group. With more than 20 years of hospitality, leisure and gaming industry experience, and having joined Novomatic in 2001, Hiten has held key management positions in the areas of M&A, Product Development, Gaming Compliance and Casino and Resorts Operations. Currently, Hiten is based in Santiago de Chile (where he is also a Director of the Monticello Grand Casino & Entertainment World; South America’s most prestigious casino resort) and is married with one young child. He speaks English, German, Spanish and Afrikaans. As an executive within the Novomatic Group Hiten brings to his current role a wealth of practical experience and fully embraces the Group’s core philosophy of duality as both an operator and an innovator and manufacturer of leading edge gaming equipment.
