Founded in 1983, Macdonald Associates (MACD) is a leading provider of exchange solutions, trading systems, FIX tools and consulting. We have been an active member of the FIX Protocol since 2004.
Blending tradition, innovation and quality, MACD is an established provider of IT solutions. We believe that our integrated model with tailored development is the ideal way to deliver complex customer specific functionality at a reasonable price.
In 2001, MACD launched GLOX, an ASP service providing a hosted order management system with FIX connectivity to exchanges and other electronic markets.

In 2010, we announced a total exchange solution covering a flexible matching engine, trading front ends, FIX connectivity, settlement links, supervision software, reporting, index calculation, internet presence and market data feeds. This solution is ideal for small or medium sized exchanges looking for a full service solution. The first customers will be BX Berne eXchange and BEKB in Switzerland, going live in summer 2011.
