Mr Michael Buhl | CEO Vienna Stock Exchange
Michael Buhl is Joint CEO of CEESEG Aktiengesellschaft as well as Wiener Börse AG and responsible for strategic development, indices and product innovations, market surveillance, listings and IT. He was appointed Joint CEO of CEESEG Aktiengesellschaft in 2010 and joined Wiener Börse AG as Joint CEO in 2005.
In 2008 Michael Buhl also became Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Budapest Stock Exchange and Vice-Chairman of the Exchange Chamber of the Prague Stock Exchange.
Prior to joining Wiener Börse, Michael Buhl was a Managing Director and Global Head of Investment Banking at Erste Bank, Managing Director and Head of Securities at CAIB Investment Bank and the Creditanstalt Group. He started his professional career with Creditanstalt as a project manager for the setup of derivatives trading in Austria.
