George Macdonald | CEO MACD
George started working in financial markets in 1989 after graduating from Manchester University. Initially working in Germany and the Netherlands, he joined Macdonald Associates (MACD) in 1992.
During his time at MACD, he has worked on a wide range of customer projects for major banks and stock exchanges in the areas of FX, equity, derivatives and fixed income.
Based in Switzerland, he provides both consultancy to customers as well as support for the company’s product range.
In 2001, MACD launched GLOX, an ASP service providing a hosted order management system with FIX connectivity to exchanges and other electronic markets.
In 2010, we announced a total exchange solution covering a flexible matching engine, trading front ends, FIX connectivity, settlement links, supervision software, reporting, index calculation, internet presence and market data feeds.
