Mr. Héctor Manosalva was born in Bogotá, Colombia, graduated as a petroleum engineer at the Universidad America in 1985, with post-graduate studies in Finance at the Universidad EAFIT in 1995 and Senior Management and Administration at the Universidad de Los Andes in 2006. He joined to Ecopetrol in 1986, since that time he has held various positions in the company, the most prominent are:  South Regional Manager  Director of Responsible Care  High Commissioner for The Energy Infrastructure Office of the President  Central Regional Manager  Vice President of Production Mr. Manosalva is also part of the boards of companies Savia, Hocol, Ecopetrol America Inc, Ecopetrol Brazil and Equión.
