Damian Lillicrap | Head of Investment Strategy Qsuper
Damian commenced with QSuper in July 2009. As Head of Investment Strategy his primary responsibilities are the asset allocation and risk budgeting for QSuper’s investment portfolios.
Previously Damian was Head of the Portfolio Design team at QIC. Specific responsibilities included portfolio design for core clients (a process that involved dynamic asset allocation). He was also responsible for the modelling and technologies involved in the portfolio construction process. These technologies included Objectives Scorecards and Asset and Portfolio Returns Models.
From May 2002 to December 2004, Damian was a member of QIC’s Global Fixed Interest team.
Damian commenced his career as a Chemical Engineer and worked in industry for 5 years. During this time he completed a Graduate Diploma of Accounting, and is now a Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA).
Previous financial experience includes roles with Macquarie Bank, CBA Institutional Banking, and Credit Suisse Financial Products.
