Howard Rosen | Chairman Rail Working Group
HOWARD ROSEN studied law at Oxford University and is an English solicitor. Since 1989 he has been running his own boutique law firm in Zug, Switzerland, specialising in international commercial and finance law, with a particular emphasis on aircraft and rolling stock finance. He is also Managing Director of the Swiss trust company Rosetrust AG.
Howard Rosen is a regular writer and conference speaker on rail finance matters As chairman of the Rail Working Group, he has been working closely with governments, international organisations and financiers, operators and manufacturers in the rail industry in connection with the development of the UNIDROIT Cape Town Convention on International Interests in Mobile Equipment and the Luxembourg Rail Protocol to the Convention.
In 2003 he was appointed by HM The Queen as a Commander of the Order of the British Empire. Since 2005, Mr. Rosen has also been President of the Council of British Chambers of Commerce in Europe (COBCOE).
