Didier J. Rault is a successful financier, international businessman and the founder and chairman of International Finance Capital (IFC), a global finance and investment firm. IFC specializes in the integral capital transactions that are essential in today’s rapidly evolving global business environment. These include project and corporate finance, mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, cooperative partnering and public offerings, and restructuring and recapitalization. IFC and Mr. Rault have also served as advisors to investors, investment funds and to companies in Europe, Africa and Asia, particularly in China. Mr. Rault is also the founder and chairman of World Mining Investment Ltd (WMI), a worldwide mining investment firm that invests in mining companies with large, long-term, diverse assets and significant proven and probable reserves. WMI focuses on mining companies that produce the world’s major mineral resources. These include gold, platinum, copper, diamonds, iron ore, aluminum, energy products, and industrial minerals. WMI invests in companies in Australia, North America, Africa, Asia and Europe. In addition to his experience in finance and investing, Mr. Rault has a background in both the management of established businesses and in creating new enterprises in various industries. In 1996, Mr. Rault joined Ideal Medical Product SA, and led the company to a listing on the Second Marché of the Paris Stock Exchange. Traveling throughout the world, he helped increase the company’s global market share and successfully negotiated the largest medical equipment contract in the world. He served on Ideal Medical’s Board of Directors until 2003.
