Mr Ryan Sher,

As COO, Ryan holds responsibility for managing all technical aspects of WIOCC’s relationship with the EASSy consortium. In this capacity, he is Chairman of the Technical Working Group, Co-Chairman of the Procurement Group and Operations & Maintenance Sub-Committees. Ryan’s responsibilities include Operations (including the WIOCC Service Desk/NOC and provisioning), Product Management (developing and managing all WIOCC product offerings), IT and pre-sales support / bid management. Ryan joined WIOCC in 2009 as CTO, having held senior-level roles over eight years with Reliance Globalcom (previously FLAG Telecom). He holds an MBA from the London Business School and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, South Africa.
