Richard Kang is the Chief Investment Officer and Director of Research at Emerging Global Advisors LLC, a New York based fund manager and research advisory firm specializing on emerging markets. Their emerging market ETFs are the first globally to provide unique sector specific and thematic exposures. Richard has been active in both institutional and individual asset/risk management for over fifteen years with experience in alternative asset classes especially hedge funds and managed futures as well as indexing. He has been involved in the use of both derivatives and ETFs within managed portfolios since 1995. Richard is an associate editor of Institutional Investors’ Journal of Index Investing and is an adjunct professor at NYU.
