Mr Peter Chen,

Peter is responsible for leading Principal Investments for CPPIB in Asia.

Prior to joining CPPIB, Peter was Principal and a founding member at Bain Capital China.

Peter was previously General Manager and founder of General Electric Corporate Financial Services in Taiwan with focus on investments across Greater China.

He is currently the Deal Network Ambassador of the Young Presidents Organization (YPO)’s Pan Asia Chapter, and served on the Financial Services Committee in Shanghai and as Governor and Capital Markets Committee Chairman in Taipei at the American Chamber of Commerce.

Peter completed his education at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill (BSBA), Keio University in Tokyo, and Harvard Business School (MBA). He was Honorary Advisor to the Society of International Registered Financial Practitioners, is GE Six-Sigma certified, and communicates in Chinese, English, Japanese and Italian.
