The optional special interest tour offers an up-close view of an innovative ageing in place senior living facility in Hong Kong

Cheerful Court, Jordan Valley by the Hong Kong Housing Society

A pilot project for the Hong Kong Government: Cheerful Court is mixed-use development ageing in place residential high-rise. This project was completed in 2004. Podium contains social, recreational, ancillary services, medical and therapy services and shopping. Cheerful Court consists of 333 units in configurations of bed-sit and one bed apartments with a combination of social, recreational, medical and ancillary services within the podium. These include restaurants, library, polyclinic, respite centre, along with games and activity spaces, meeting spaces and a pool and hydrotherapy centre. The facility is intended to provide strong linkages to the community for integration of day services.

The complimentary tour is opened to all delegates and speakers with a maximum capacity of 40 persons. Please book early to avoid disappointment.
