Robert S. Linton is the founder of LCE Placement and Consulting Services, a São Paulo-based boutique that provides international sales / marketing and investor relations services to Brazilian private equity and hedge fund managers. LCE is presently coordinating international investor relations for ABVCAP, the Brazilian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association, which includes mapping out foreign investor interest in Brazilian PE and VC funds, as well as coordinating global events to promote the Brazilian PE industry. Robert has been working in Brazil since 1993 and has developed a wide network of Brazilian contacts through his extensive experience in the sales and market development of local alternative asset funds, private equity, real estate and structured finance vehicles. He has held a number of senior positions in investment banks and alternative asset managers such as Banco Sul America (Executive Board Member). Rio Bravo Investimentos (International Sales and Distribution), Vision Brazil Investments (Partner, International Sales) Citibank/SN Crefisul (Senior Manager) and Deutsche Bank (Brazil team head and Director of Private Wealth Management). Robert has an International Executive MBA from the University of Pittsburgh - Katz School of Business, and two BA´s from the University of Michigan.
