Duncan Littlejohn is Managing Director- Latin America for Paul Capital Partners, a well known secondary private equity fund manager with over US$ 7 billion in AUM. He was previously a partner of BPE Investimentos, a primary private equity fund manager whose portfolios have included companies such as Datasul, Injepet, Mobitel, Getec, Autotrac, Armco Staco and others. BPE has invested in 15 Brazilian medium sized companies with a combined enterprise value of over R$ 1,5 billion. He began his career in NY with the S& W Berisford (UK) group concentrating on coffee cocoa and sugar business. He spent 10 years in Ecuador as CEO of Productos Ecuatorianos (Prodec) a leading coffee and cocoa exporter. In Brazil since 1989, he has been active in principal investing, in the US and Brazil, and in corporate finance. Before joining Brasilpar in 1995 he was director and President and major shareholder of AVM Auto-equipamentos Ltda, a local auto parts manufacturer and Partner of Pirelli Fintec Ltda, a Financial Advisory firm associated to the Pirelli Group. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in International Relations. He has served on the boards various portfolio companies and is currently on the board of ABVCAP the Brazilian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association and the advisory board of several PE funds.
