Cristiano joined HSBC Capital in February 2008. Prior to joining HSBC Capital, Cristiano was a Vice-President at AEA Investors, focusing on direct investments for its global middle market buyout fund. He also worked for Aetos Capital, an affiliate of AEA, in its private equity fund-of-funds business, and prior to that, for Warburg Pincus in its Latin America private equity group, and for JPMorgan in São Paulo. He received his B.S. in engineering from Escola Politécnica at the University of São Paulo and his M.B.A. from The University of Chicago.
