Mr Michael Furey,

Michael is the Head of Research for Suncorp’s Advisory divisions that include Suncorp Financial Services, Guardian Financial Planning, Standard Pacific Consulting, and is also the portfolio manager of Standard Pacific’s first quartile performing multi-manager investment portfolios across both single sector and diversified funds.

Michael has worked in the financial services industry for more than twenty years and has also held senior positions at both Westpac and ANZ. He has published dozens of articles in investment strategy and portfolio management and specialises in advanced quantitative methods. He has a Bachelor of Mathematics, Masters of Applied Finance, and is a Fellow of Financial Services Institute of Australasia.
