Luke McConnell has over 14 years experience in the financial services sector. He is presently Chief Financial Officer of the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) in the Nordic Region, based in Stockholm, Sweden. Previously at RBS he held the position of Global Head of Finance - Financial Institutions, with overall responsibility for the finance function of the Banking, Insurance, Asset Managers & Hedge Fund sectors. Prior to RBS, Luke held a number of positions in the investment banking & financial services industry, including: American Express (Financial Institutions) Morgan Stanley (Hedge Funds) & Aercap (Aviation Solutions). Luke is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia (ICAA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce (BCom), Master of Applied Taxation (MAppTax) & Master of Business Administration (MBA).
