Mr Peter Akerley,
President & CEO

Peter C. Akerley has held the position of President and Chief Executive Officer since March 2003. Mr. Akerley has been a director of the company since February 2003. Mr. Akerley previously provided exploration and managerial services for projects in Canada, the U.S., Mexico, Guyana, the Philippines and Mongolia to junior and senior exploration and mining companies. Projects discovered under Mr. Akerley’s management have subsequently been developed in both Mongolia and the United States. Between 1996 and 1998, he was co-manager of a major exploration program in Mongolia with J. C. (Chris) Cowan. Mr. Akerley has also been President of BRM Exploration Ltd., a mineral exploration consulting company that provided geologic exploration and managerial services to the industry internationally, since 1996. He holds a BSc (Geology) from Saint Mary's University in Halifax.
