Steven has 23 years experience in local government primarily in the areas of transport planning and management and development assessment matters. He has experience in developing strategies and policies for the transport system including the development of high level transport modelling software. He has experience in local and regional planning and infrastructure assessments for the Central Coast. Projects undertaken involve tasks such as traffic modelling, planning of parking, pedestrian and cyclist facilities, feasibility studies of major road corridors (and transport modes) and environmental impact assessments, strategic asset management, Section 94 review and project management of road network upgrades (initiate, research, plan, design and deliver). During 2002/03 Steven was seconded to a technical advisory team to develop a Regional Central Coast Strategy. For the last two years he was part of a Gosford City Centre Revitalisation Team that was set up to develop a masterplan for the city centre.
