Juan Matías Archilla Pintidura is Director of International Projects of RENFE-Operadora, the Spanish Public Railway Operator. In 2005, date of the split of the company between a Railway Undertaking (RENFE-Operadora) and an Infrastructure Manager (ADIF), he joined the new “Corporate Direction of Relationships with ADIF and International Relations” as Quality Manager, responsible for the control of the quality of service that the Infrastructure Manager provides to the Railway Operator. In 2007 he promoted, in the same Corporate Direction, to Director of Relationships with the Infrastructure Manager. Previously (1996-2005), Juan Matías was Marketing Manager of the High Speed Business Unit of RENFE. As a Marketing Manager, he was responsible for the design of product, timetables, prices and fares. During that period, one of his main activities was the development of the Business Plans for the new High Speed Lines in Spain (Madrid - Barcelona and Madrid - Málaga). Juan Matías received his Mathematics degree from Universidad Complutense (Madrid).
