Mr Surya Jhunjhnuwala, Managing Director of The Hind Group, which owns and runs the lifestyle businesses- Naumi and Rang Mahal Restaurants, was born and raised in Hong Kong before relocating to Singapore in 1997 where he was in charge of key financial & property investments for the Group. He was instrumental in the conception of the redevelopment of the defunct Imperial Hotel into a condominium.

As a savvy entrepreneur, with an astute eye for property development, Mr Surya continued to develop other contemporary residential properties in central Brisbane, Australia as well as in Singapore, namely Residences at 338a, a 46 freehold apartment along River Valley.

In 2007, Naumi, the award-winning personal luxury boutique hotel was created as a result of his passion for personalized hospitality and his aspiration to grow the Group’s “hospitality interest”.

Along with his brother Girish, who is based in Hong Kong, they also own and manage numerous serviced apartments in Hong Kong.
