Bioenergy development in Africa is not high enough on most countries’ agendas. This needs to change! Producing bioenegy will make Africa a force to be reckoned with in the global biofuels industry and will
stimulate economic development, particularly in poorer rural areas across the continent.

If we are to succeed in promoting and sustaining the African bioenergy market we have to get government and the private sector involved. Increasing investment into the industry will assist us in developing our energy infrastructure. Not incorporating bioenergy as part of Africa’s energy mix will have devastating effects to your
bottom line.

Bioenergy World Africa is co-located with the 13th annual Power & Electricity congress. The congress brings together key decision makers in the African energy industry under one forum to discuss methods and solutions for expanding and sustaining the industry.
