Mr Douglas Stratton,

Douglas Stratton is the Senior Vice President of Fund Management at Alberta Investment Management Corporation (“AIMCo”) and has served in that position since January 2003. The Fund Management Group implements client investment policies and makes asset mix recommendations. AIMCo was established as a Province of Alberta Crown Corporation to provide investment management services to various Alberta provincial public sector pensions, endowments and fixed income funds.

Prior to joining Alberta Investment Management Corporation, Mr. Stratton was Executive Director, Investments, Pensions and Treasury Service at the Province of Nova Scotia, where he was responsible for all investment and debt capital markets activities and pension benefits administration.

Mr. Stratton is a CFA charter holder from the CFA Institute. He earned a Bachelor of Commerce and a Bachelor of Science (Computing Science) from the University of Alberta.

Mr. Stratton is a Member of the Edmonton Society of Financial Analysts and has held a number of positions including that of president of the society. He was also a Director of the Atlantic Canada Society of Financial Analysts.
