Bruce Madding, in July 2010, joined C.M. Capital Corporation as President and Chief Investment Officer after 22 years with the Henry J. Kaiser Family Foundation in Palo Alto, California, as its Chief Financial & Investment Officer. C.M. Capital Corporation is an asset management and investment advisory firm established in Palo Alto in 1969. C.M. Capital Corporation is part of the Hong Kong based Cha Group.

Mr. Madding has been a member and Chair of the American Red Cross Investment Committee, an investment committee member of the University of California-Berkeley Foundation, past Chair of the Foundation Financial Officer’s Group (an affiliation of the largest foundation’s investment officers in the United States and Europe), and is a member of the investment committee for the M Funds. He also sits on numerous other advisory boards. Mr. Madding was selected as the 2010 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient by Foundation and Endowment Money Management.

Mr. Madding has lectured at universities and industry programs including the Stanford Business School, University of California, Berkeley Haas School of Business, Institutional Investor, and The CFA Institute. He was also profiled in the publication Foundation and Endowment Investing: Philosophies and Strategies of Top Investors and Institutions.

A native of San Francisco, Mr. Madding earned his Bachelors degree from the University of California at Berkeley and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He also is a Certified Public Accountant who worked in management positions with an internationally recognised accounting firm early in his career.
