Mr Marco Strimer,

Marco Strimer gained international banking experience working for a large bank in Switzerland as well as during a four-year stay abroad. In 1994, he joined former INTERSETTLE as Head of Customer Services & Quality Assurance. When INTERSETTLE and SEGA merged to form SIS SegaInterSettle in May 1999, Marco Strimer was made head of the Marketing Division, of which the Custodian Network has been a part since 2004. Effective 1 January 2002, he was appointed to the Executive Committee of SIS SegaInterSettle.
In March 2005, Marco Strimer became the CEO of SIS x-clear, which carries the name SIX x-clear Ltd since it belongs to SIX Group, the integrated Swiss financial market infrastructure provider.
SIX x-clear Ltd acts as the Central Counterparty for SIX Swiss Exchange and London Stock Exchange and is also in charge of risk management within the Securities Services Division of SIX Group. SIX x-clear Ltd is licensed as a bank under Swiss law and enjoys the status of a recognized Overseas Clearing House in the United Kingdom.
