Dirk Hoffmann-Becking is European Banks analyst at Sanford C. Bernstein. He joined the firm in 2006 as an analyst covering European Capital Markets Banks and Stock Exchanges. Prior to joining the firm, Dirk was at ABN AMRO, where he headed the Strategy and Planning Group for Europe. Prior to ABN AMRO he was an Associate Principal at McKinsey, based in London and Frankfurt. At McKinsey, Dirk advised clients in Wholesale Banking and Capital Markets on strategy and risk management with a focus on relationship management, pricing and product development. He is admitted to the bar in Hamburg, Germany and holds a PhD from Kiel University and a law degree from Freiburg University.
