 Mr Diego Martinez,
General Manager SICE Pty Ltd Diego Martinez is the General Manager for SICE (Australia Pacific & Australia/New Zealand). He is a Telecommunications Engineer with an MBA from the University of San Francisco and over 13 years experience in the management and consulting of ITS related projects in Spain, South Africa and Australia. Most recently he led the development of the largest and most advanced Multi Lane Free Flow tolling road in Australia, the Eastlink Tolling end-to-end system project, which opened in 2008, 5 months ahead of schedule and within budget. Previously, as Managing Director of SICE South Africa, he managed the implementation of the Bakwena Platinum Highway Tolling System – 385 kms, 106 lanes, 15 toll plazas and a control centre, also completed ahead of schedule and within budget.
