National Technical Executive - Transit Planning National Transport Parsons Brinckerhoff Australia Dick Fleming is National Technical Executive Transit Planning. He has been engaged as a specialist in planning for urban transit systems, multi-modal interchange planning and design, road based priority systems and integrated land use / transport planning for over 30 years. He is an internationally recognised expert in bus rapid transit systems and has worked throughout Australia, New Zealand, UK, China, Philippines and Pakistan.
Dick has advised the City of Beijing on the development of its Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) strategy and has acted as technical advisor for the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway and the East London Transit Project in the UK. Dick was deeply involved in surface transportation planning for the highly successful Sydney 2000 Olympics, developed the transportation master plan for Beijings Olympic Green and has since advised London 2012 and Tokyos bid for the 2016 Games.
