Mr Dmitriy Strashnov,

Dmitry Strashnov was born in 1967 in Russia. In 1991 Dmitry graduated from the Bauman Moscow State Technical University. In 1999 he graduated from the INSEAD business school. In 1992 Dmitry Strashnov established his own company in the sphere of graphic design and production and headed it during 1992-1994. During 1994-2000 Dmitry was in charge of the Russian division of Electrolux Home Appliances, being responsible for promotion and development of the brands Electrolux, Zanussi, AEG in Russia and Byelorussia. In 2000 Dmitry Strashnov was appointed CEO of Philips Consumer Electronics in Russia. Under his leadership the company manifested stable growth and development and achieved high results on the EMEA market. In 2005 Dmitry was elected a member of the European Leadership Board of the Consumer Electronics division. In 2008 Dmitry Strashnov was appointed Vice-President and CEO of Consumer Life Style at Philips Russia. In April 2009 Dmitry Strashnov joined the Tele2 Russia in the capacity of Chief Operating Officer, and in July 2009 he was appointed CEO of Tele Russia. In 2001 Dmitry Strashnov was reported by the business journal “Company” to be one of the winners of the “Manager of the Year” title under nomination “Trade (Sales) and Distribution”.
