Mr Amilkar Torres,
Group Director of Products Digicel
As Group Products Director, Amilkar Torres has overall responsibility for all commercial and technical aspects of all products in the Digicel footprint of 32 countries across the globe. This means ensuring that Digicel customers constantly have access to new innovations and value-added services ensuring that they benefit from the very best mobile experience and the best value.
He was previously Group Product Delivery Director having joined Digicel back in 2005.
Amilkar has over 12 years telecoms experience and, prior to joining Digicel, worked in various management roles for the France Telecom Group in its operations in the Dominican Republic and Slovakia.
A Polish and Dominican Republic citizen, Amilkar holds a bachelors degree in Telematics Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from the Pontificia Universidad Catolica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic.
