 Marie Knox,
Standards Compliance Analyst Midwest ISO Marie Knox is currently a Senior Standards Compliance Analyst for the Midwest Independent Transmission System Operator (Midwest ISO) where her responsibilities include providing Midwest ISO input into the development of North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), North American Energy Standards Board (NAESB), and Regional Entity standards as new standards are drafted and existing standards are revised. She participates in standards drafting committees and works with Midwest ISO stakeholders to leverage efforts and increase the collective voice.
Prior to working for the Midwest ISO, Marie worked for the utility Illinois Power (currently known as AmerenIP) in generation distpatch and transmission scheduling. There she operated the electric system along with power plant controls, and forecasted energy demand to meet system load and sales.
Marie holds a bachelors degree in Computer Science from Western Illinois University, a masters degree in Business Administration, and has been NERC certified in System Operator Reliability from 2003 to present.
