Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Individual contribution to the company in driving supply chain initiatives that result in developing a more responsive and efficient supply chain
  • Leadership role in supply chain management and people development within the business teams 
  • Demonstrated organisational change through his/her role in the supply chain organisation 
  • Internal recognition by company towards the individual’s contributions

Supply Chain Innovation Excellence Award NEW

This award aims to promote and drive change through the adoption of new and innovative supply chain practices.  It will support and reward a company that has exemplified an expansive and agile approach in their supply chain management.  It will look at how the organization has implemented new processes, technology or applications that create quantifiable and sustainable results in terms of cost savings, revenue, and customer satisfaction.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Developed a code of conduct/standards for its own organisation and suppliers that target innovative efforts
  • Unconventional best practices that demonstrate business progress and successful integration of business functions and resource optimisation
  • Creative ways of collaboration with external suppliers to jointly develop and strengthen relationships
  • Pioneering initiatives have measurable components - Results are collated and evaluated against KPIs
  • Successful engagement of all stakeholders in the supply chain (e.g. internal staff, suppliers and partners)
Best Manufacturing Supply Chain Finance Award NEW

This award aims to recognize a manufacturing company that has demonstrated an ongoing commitment to improve their financial supply chain visibility, expand working capital and increase their cash liquidity, while reducing processing costs and fees.  It will look at how organisations have managed to optimize availability and cost of capital thru aggregating, packaging and utilizing various information generated during supply chain activities and marrying this information with the physical control of goods. The successful coupling of information and physical control has also enabled the company to mitigate financial risk within their supply chain.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Utilization of automated supply chain financing
  • Optimisation of supply chain networks and inventory deployments
  • Adoption of lean manufacturing and streamlining of product development cycles
  • Implementation of a viable system thru process automation and real-time visibility of invoice data to all parties involved 
  • Incorporation of financial and supplier performance information as an analytic tool to indicate potential challenges

Best Manufacturers’ Supplier Network Management Award

This award aims to recognize a manufacturing company that has implemented an exceptional method in synchronizing the flow of information between customer and supplier.  It will look at how an organization has integrated graphical and mathematical models for strategic network design, and how selection of adequate supply networks are satisfied in different evaluation criteria.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Developed a code of conduct/standards for its own organisation and suppliers that target innovative efforts in supplier network management
  • Best practices that demonstrate business progress and successful integration of business functions and resource optimisation 
  • Creative ways of collaboration with external suppliers to jointly develop and strengthen relationships

This award aims to recognize a manufacturing company that has consistently enhanced the way in which their organisation has procured goods and services, has demonstrated real innovation and delivered results beyond expectation, ensuring that the demands of current legislation are satisfied and has consistently set a positive example for others.  It will also look at the development and implementation of sustainable procurement policies and processes in their supply chains.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Best practices that demonstrate business progress and successful integration of business functions and resource optimisation

This award aims to recognize a manufacturing company that has set the strategy for international logistics and has transformed specific, foundational components to drive future improvements.  It will look at how the organization is designing better ways to leverage on the skills and technology of their logistics partners in increasing automation, creating control through visibility, effective use of inventory, streamlining customs processes and maximizing trade agreements.

Best Supply Chain Management Solutions Provider Award

The Award recognises the best solutions provider in the Asia Pacific which provides IT solutions within the supply chain realm. This is not restricted to a full suite of supply chain solutions, and companies may provide specialised warehousing, inventory, transportation solutions or others to be eligible for this Award.

Companies will be judged on the following criteria:

Supply Chain Best Partnership Award (Top 3)

This award recognises the top companies for their outstanding contributions in supply chain partnerships. These companies are providers of supply chain solutions and/or logistics services that have played significant roles in driving supply chain and/or logistics excellence in their client organisations, resulting in improved business performance. This award illustrates the importance and significance of supply chain partnerships, particularly during critical economic times.
