Daniel A. Braverman is a partner based in Cleary Gottlieb’s London office and spends much of his time in the firm’s Moscow office. Mr. Braverman’s practice focuses on international IPOs and listings, and he also advises on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and restructurings. He has had significant responsibility for a substantial part of the firm’s practice in Russia since 1994, and he has participated in the evolution of international listing venues for Russian businesses from the NYSE to London and now to Hong Kong. His most recent IPO advisory assignment was for UC RUSAL in its Hong Kong and Euronext listings earlier this year. Mr. Braverman is distinguished as a leading capital markets lawyer by Chambers Global, Chambers Europe, Chambers UK and The Legal 500 UK, and he was ranked as a “Star Individual” by Chamber Global 2010 for Russia Capital Markets, Overseas Counsel, the only lawyer in this category to be so ranked.
