Colin has over 13 years of Russia/CIS private equity advisory and fund management experience, including 5 years experience forming and managing multiple Russian/CIS-region private equity funds (including sector-specific, real estate, industrial and fund of funds products). Prior to forming Breeze Ventures Management, Colin practiced law with Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati (California) and with Cadwalader (New York), where he advised private and public companies and private equity and venture capital funds in all aspects of their organization: capital raising, reporting, investor relations, transactions, intellectual property protection, governance and transparency. From 1995 until 1998, Colin was a Fellow at the Center for the Study of Constitutionalism in Eastern Europe. He brings deep transactional experience, expertise in Russian political economy, and broad access to CIS-focused private equity opportunities.
