Alisher Ali Djumanov has over 14 years of investment management, investment banking, and advisory experience in emerging and frontier markets of Eastern Europe and Eurasian countries including Russia, Kazakhstan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Mongolia. He has worked in major international financial centers such as New York, London, Zurich, Singapore and Hong Kong. Alisher is Founder of Eurasia Capital Management, a Singapore-based investment management firm focused on investments in Mongolia, Central Asia, Russia and China. He is Chairman of Eurasia Capital, a Hong Kong-based pan-regional investment bank with offices in China, Mongolia, Kazakhstan and Uzbekistan as well as Chairman of Mongolia Development Resources, an infrastructure development company listed on the Mongolia Stock Exchange. He was Vice President of Auerbach Grayson & Co., a brokerage house in New York advising US institutional investors on portfolio investments in emerging markets in Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He was Head of Corporate Finance in Central Asia and the Caucasus at Ernst & Young as well as investment banker at Renaissance Capital in Moscow and Credit Suisse First Boston in Zurich and London. Alisher received his Master of International Affairs from Columbia University and an MBA from Oxford University.
