 Mr Mike Dougan,
General Manager Metering Ergon Energy Mike has worked the electricity industry in Victoria (SECV, ESV and Powercor) and Queensland (Ergon) since 1974 (35 years). He has had many roles from starting as an apprentice electrician in the SECV Latrobe Valley operations through various roles as an engineer in distribution and sub transmission system design, system planning and major project management. In 1990 Mike moved into District then Regional Management, then in to Network Pricing and major customer connections at Powercor then Ergon Energy. Mike spent two years operating his own consultancy business between working at Powercor and moving to Queensland in 2001 to work for Ergon Energy. He consulted to the electricity industry, customers and local government in economic regulatory, major customer connections and business process frameworks.
