About your workshop leader
 
 
Robin entered the IT industry following graduation in 1973, specialising in systems
software to support the introduction of the first on-line computing applications into local government. He launched his own consulting firm in 1981, pioneering new client-server software
architectures that were enabled by the introduction of desktop computing.
 
 
Robin’s reputation as one of Australia’s broadband pioneers has led to a number of international engagements in countries including the Canada, the UK, Norway, Belgium, India and New Zealand.
 
He is a passionate advocate for the use of ICT technology in support of efforts to address the challenges posed by climate change.
