MetroRail Australia 2010 creates a vital platform for decision in the urban rail industry to share experiences, discuss challenges and develop key relationships.

Forming part of the 2nd annual Urban Transport World event MetroRail Australia 2010 is dedicated to the crucial role that passenger rail will play in our growing urban centres. We have expanded the content and format of the MetroRail day to include an overview of not only metro but also the role of light and heavy rail in the urban rail mix.

Over 20 transport operators, government agencies and suppliers will share insights into key projects and strategies required for relieving demand pressures on the urban rail network.

There will also be two afternoon streams on “Signalling, Communications and New Technologies” and “Operations, Infrastructure Upgrades & Maintenance”.

The event will continue to build on the outstanding success that was MetroRail Australia 2009, providing a comprehensive overview of the latest strategies, projects, technologies and issues surrounding operations, maintenance, safety and security.
