 Mr Rick Frasse,
Executive Vice President GS Caltex - Chevron Ric Frasse is Executive VP of the LNG Supply Business Unit, GS Caltex. In this position he is responsible for the procurement and management of LNG supplies to satisfy GS Caltex and other Korean customers requirements.
Previously he was Asia Region Manager International Marketing & Business Development (IMBD), Chevron Global Gas, based in Singapore. In this position he was responsible for marketing and business development activities in support of commercializing Chevrons Asia region gas resources, including the massive Gorgon and Wheatstone resources in Australia.
Ric completed a Bachelors degree in Geology from California State University in 1979, and a Masters Degree in Geology from Washington State University in 1981. He has worked in coal resource evaluation with the US Geological Survey, oil and gas exploration, strategic planning, and project management positions with Texaco in the Western US, US Gulf of Mexico, Europe, Eurasia, Africa, and Southeast Asia (Malaysia, Myanmar, Indonesia). In 1999 he established and led Indonesian affiliate PT CPIs gas contracting and production services organization, followed in 2001 by establishing and leading Chevron Global Gas IMBD unit for the Asia Region. In April 2005 he assumed his current position in GS Caltex, a Chevron-GS Holdings joint venture with refining, marketing, petrochemical, citigas and power assets in South Korea.
Ric has worked internationally in the oil and gas industry since 1987, focusing on East and Southeast Asia since 1993.
