Scott Witt is responsible for leading, directing and managing WSDOT’s Freight Systems Division Rail and Marine Office. He is directly responsible for the public investment in Washington State’s Rail and Marine network, provides policy direction for the State’s freight rail strategic plan, and influences federal freight policies and congressional actions to build sustained advantage throughout Washington, West Coast and national freight intermodal system. Mr. Witt was the Director of Corporate Transportation for Oregon Steel Mills from 1999-2006 and is a Senior Logistics Executive with more than 23 years of transportation experience. He holds a BA in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt.
