I ahve held y current position since 1995, and have been responsible for planning, contract administration, and oversight of commuter rail construction, maintenance, and service in Chicago, Seattle, Los Angeles, and Minneapolis; Amtrak operations across the BNSF; and business car operations in support of the Operating, Marketing and Government Affairs departments of BNSF. From 1991-1995 held the position of Assistant to the Chairman, Burlington Northern Railroad. From 1981-1991 held the positions of Superintendent and Director, Suburban Services for the Burlington Northern Railroad (BN) in Chicago, except between 1986 and 1988. Between 1986 and 1988, held the position of Senior Director, Planning and Administration for BN’s Chicago Region. From 1971-1981 held various positions at the U.S. Department of Transportation’s Urban Mass Transportation Administration (now the Federal Transit Administration), ending with the position of Director, Transit Assistance for Region V, Chicago.
