Mark entered the research management profession in 1989 after three years working with Luminis Pty Ltd in an attempt to commercialise intellectual property arising from work undertaken during a PhD from the University of Adelaide. He is currently Director of the Research and Innovation Services Unit at the University of South Austalia. Mark is a foundation member of the Australasian Research Management Society (ARMS)and served as President of ARMS during 2007/2008.
