 Dr Brian Dymock,
Head, Chemistry S*BIO, Singapore Following a BSc (1994) and PhD (1997) Brian worked the the anti-viral group as a MedChem Team Leader at Roche UK. Four years later following the closure of Roche in the UK Brian joined RiboTargets (now Vernalis) targeting Heat Shock Protein (HSP90) for cancer in collaboration with the Institute of Cancer Research, London. This produced NVP-AUY922 (out-licensed to Novartis) now in Phase 1 clinical trials for cancer. Brian then moved to a new challenge at a Contract Research Organization (CRO), Evotec, where he was a Department Manager. During this time a rare opportunity arose to lead a Chemistry group in an Asian environment.
