 Mr Fernando Paez,
President TransMilenio, Colombia Public Administrator from the “ESCUELA SUPERIOR DE ADMINISTRACIÓN PUBLICA”, Management Specialist in Quality and Productivity at the “Universidad Del Valle”, Management Studies in Local Government Administration with the Ibero-American Municipal Union - Spain.
With an extensive experience in the public sector, he has held leadership positions in the Management and Administration at National and District levels: At ICFES (Colombian Institute for the promotion of superior education) as Chief of the Testing Division, with the responsibility of the administration of all educational assessment tests in the country; at the Administrative Department of District Planning he worked as a Deputy Director of Programming and Monitoring of Public Investment and also as a Manager of District Programs and Projects Bank of Public Investment, from which he coordinated the formulation of development plans for Bogota and the installation of models for programming, monitoring and evaluating public investment projects.
Since March 2006 he worked as Deputy Manager of TRANSMILENIO S.A., with important contributions in planning and institutional development and also in the coordination of strategies for working with all actors in the System, and National and District agencies for the development and consolidation of the TransMilenio project.
Since November 2008 he is the General Manager of TRANSMILENIO S.A.
